When I walk outside in the snow, I’m camoflaged. What am I? Blizzard! I am an absolute overabundance of cuteness and a deluge of snuggles. When you see me coming, all you want to do is cuddle on the couch with hot chocolate and watch Christmas Rom-Coms. I am comfortable with all sorts of people and animals. I’ve got you covered. I’m Blizzard!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
He is absolutely adorable! His personality is starting to shine, and he is just the fluffiest bundle of love.
He gets around by using his head to bump into things, his nose, and his paws. It is soooo cute.
He’s tentative in new places, but after a week, he’s comfortable in the house, and taking his usual walk around the block.
Any time we go somewhere new, he’s more tentative again, which make sense given he’s blind.
He mostly likes sitting/sleeping on the couch with us.
He’s learned to use the soft, foam ramp we set up at our couch.
He crawls down it and feels the small breaks in height with his paws.. awwww!!!!
He sleeps a lot of the day.
He sleeps in his bed at night which is at the foot of our bed, but jumps up, or stares at you to be picked up in the morning for more sleeping on the bed and snuggle time.
He is good about going outside.
He will sit and look towards the back door sometimes, and he likes the small backyard we have.
We take him out 2-3 times a day. Always the same walk around the block, and he confidently struts around that path now.
He is a slow walker…. and is good on the leash.
He can hear, especially if it’s quiet and inside.
He can hear a squeaky toy, and loves to play, usually after our walk.
You can get him going by doing a doggie massage and he gets all riled up and playful.
And he CAN hear the treat bag.
He loves other dogs! Any size and type!
He is so cute trying to find them once he smells them….
