Blinker’s coat, a medley of black and heather gray with tasteful speckles in all the right places, has the look of vintage Prada. It fits his distinguished manner perfectly, matching a tiny pair of velvet ears and bright eyes. He is a soulful guy, friendly with dogs and people in all shapes and sizes and open to love in all its forms. (If he had to choose, he’d probably go for gentle scritches.) He’s looking to bring his special brand of sweetness and light to a forever home. Yours would be dandy!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Blinker is a calm and confident guy who loves to spend ample time resting so that when he does go outside, he is recharged and ready to explore. At times, it seems his mind and nose are going so fast that his legs are just trying to keep up!
Blinker is self-assured with an easygoing temperament. He enjoys seeking out company (like sneaking a peek at his unsuspecting foster mom) but is equally content when left alone. He’s the quiet type, as Blinker has yet to make a single bark, but he does let out charming little grumbling noises when waking up—which many of us can relate to!
Blinker’s adaptability shines in his daily routine. He tends to have more of an appetite in the afternoon and evening and knows that going outside means potty time. He does well with frequent outdoor visits (about every 3 hours during the day). His foster mom has discovered that if he goes outside at 10 p.m. before bed and the next morning at 7:30 a.m, Blinker can sleep through the whole night without any accidents—quite impressive for 12 years young!
Some of Blinker’s favorite things include being told he’s a good boy, enjoying small pieces of cheese, and laying down by his human companion’s feet. With his resilient spirit and gentle nature, Blinker has a lot of love to share and makes a sweet, quiet companion.
