*Here is what Blaze’s foster parents have to say!
Blaze is perfectly content snuggling next to you while you work or binge bad tv, and he won’t even pass judgment on your selection. He gets so excited for walks and has great leash manners, with zero leash reactivity. Any opportunity to romp with other dogs, big or small, will set his little nubbin of a tail a-wagging. For an older guy, he still has a hop in his step, even if he can’t quite keep up with the younger pups. He’d do great in a home with another doggo. The city doesn’t faze him; he barely notices skateboards, sirens, or any other city noises.
At home, Blaze seems happiest right next to you; if you get up to walk around he will follow and wants to stay close by. He will let out the quietest little whimper and may paw at you when he wants more pets or scritches, but otherwise doesn’t make a peep. He’s quite the gentleman and will wait patiently to be invited onto furniture.
The little guy had a couple accidents on the first day in my home, but now that we’ve sorted out his walk schedule, it’s been smooth sailing. Putting on a harness is still a little new for him, but once it’s on he’s happy wearing it. We’re also still working on his sit training, though he definitely knows to sit when it’s chow time! Blaze is an absolute sweetheart and any loving home would be lucky to have him!
