Handsome, soft, and undeniably adorable, Blake is a miniature poodle with a heart set on cuddles!
No matter where you are, this sweet boy will find you for pets and won’t hesitate to climb into your lap for love and snuggles. His pristine white coat is beautiful, making him as dashing on the outside as he is inside. His vision impairment doesn’t slow him down from finding his friends.
Blake is great with other dogs and ready to begin a new chapter in a life filled with joy and companionship. If you’re looking for a furry friend who thrives on connection and affection, Blake is ready to make your day every single day.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Blake is such a goodest boi! He’s super chill, totally not reactive to my dogs at all, and would probably be fine with a cat. Despite being blind, he does not startle easily to touch or to objects in his path. He’s learned how to use our ramp to the yard pretty fast, and seems like he might be housebroken. He hasn’t tried to mark anything in the house.
He does seem nervous in the car and crate, but otherwise seems very lowkey. He likes food a lot, and really enjoys snoozing on the grass outside or a blanket inside. He limps, lifting his right rear leg a lot, so he probably won’t be a great hiking buddy, but he will Netflix and chill with the best of them! I was a bit nervous about fostering my first blind dog, but Blake has been a fantastic guest, and whoever adopts him will be getting a great bud!
