Scrumptious miss Biscuit is ready to wiggle waggle her way into her new life! Does that adorable bottom ever stop wagging? Not so far as we’ve seen! She’s very friendly and social with both people and other dogs. This chunky monkey loves cuddles and pets, as many as possible please, and throw in some belly rubs while you’re at it if you don’t mind.
Here is what her foster mom has to say!
Biscuit’s favorite things are having her belly scratched, riding in the car, and rubbing her head in the grass. Her favorite toy is a plush “squeaky hound”. She doesn’t show much interest in balls and ropes, including the soft ones designed for small senior dogs.
Biscuit is a perfect angel at bath time. She stands quietly in the tub while she’s washed and rinsed and she adores being toweled dry and then running through the house all fluffy and new!
Biscuit has lost about one pound over the past two weeks, dropping from 15.8 to 14.7 pounds! She has been taking very frequent walks, and seems able to move faster than two weeks ago, although still slightly slower than an average walking pace.
She’s not a huge fan of her ‘diet’ food so we’re still trying to find just the right calorie controlled combination that still offers complete nutrition. She’s been enjoying shredded boiled chicken with rice and vegetables and in the morning I mix in the probiotic and shiny coat supplements.
Biscuit continues to be very easy to care for and a joy to have around!
