Meet adorable little Binx!

Binx is the most perfect senior mutt and is a super sweetheart. Binx is a little chihuahua mix most likely and as cute as can be. She LOVES to snuggle and bask in the sunshine. Little Binx is vision impaired, and doesn’t have much vision, but don’t tell her that. She seems to be pretty adjusted, but would love a home that is patient and understands her needs. She is the perfect snuggle buddy and quarantine companion. If you are looking for a snuggly friend to curl up with and pamper to pieces- Binx is your gal!

Binx is estimated to be 12 years young and weighs 9 lbs.

HERE’S WHAT HER FOSTER HAS TO SAY!

Binx is a cheeky little granny who loves to be the center of your attention! She is typically calm and sleeps a lot during the day but when she needs a cuddle buddy at night or needs some attention she’ll let you know with a little whimper. She has a great appetite and wants to be near all the food, hers and yours! Her legs are short and a bit weak and she cannot climb steep stairs so a single story home is ideal. She loves to meet new people and warms up quickly to people who give her lots of pets!

Binx tends to sleep most of the day but is active at meal times and at night. Prepare for her to occupy your couch or bed and demand pets and cuddles! Binx has a small bladder and needs to be taken out several times during the day. We’re still working on her house training and she knows now that when she is outside, she needs to conduct her business.

She gets cold easily and has a tendency to shiver, so she enjoys having her bed in sunnier spots. Consider knitting her your best sweater to keep this gal warm! She is not much of a walker and tends to stay in place when on a leash but will actively explore your yard and your home!

Binx loves to sleep in the sunshine on soft, plush, surfaces and is really good at seeking the sunspots out in the home. She also enjoys lower back rubs, pets and being spoken to – you can see her tail wagging and know she’s blissing out. Binx likes to perch on laps while you’re sitting and snuggle herself into you. When she’s sleeping in her bed, she enjoys cuddling herself up in a blanket or with a small toy.

Binx is pretty blind for the most part and it has taken her some time to learn the layout of our home. She has already adapted pretty well to finding her way after about a week. Within the first two days she learned to recall where the door to our outside area was in the home. She would not be safe in a household with many steep stairs or steps. Additionally, her hearing is not very good, but she will respond to louder voices when she chooses.

Overall, Binx would be very suitable for someone who is not only able to tend to Binx’s everyday needs, but also a homebody who really enjoys the company of a little lady by their side at all times! Binx LOVES attention and would be really happy with someone who feels the same!
