An American outlaw and gunfighter of the Old West, Billy the Kid is a real dog’s dog. He’s not afraid of his own shadow. Billy is as rough and tumble as they come. He has a confident little walk and a sweet cowboy swagger that shows itself when he moves across the floor. Billy the Kid is obviously a senior, but this long haired chihuahua can still throw on his boots at the drop of a dime and shuffle out the front door. He enjoys a few short daily walks and does great with other pups at the O.K Corral. One good thing about Billy being so low to the ground is that he is great at dodging rubber bullets. We aren’t saying that we condone him owning a weapon unless it is purchased at a Nerf store. So throw on your hat and jump on that horse of yours and ride on down to Muttville and pick up Billy the Kid. Side saddle will absolutely be included!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Billy is a sweet little guy who’s potty- trained. He’s very friendly and loves people and is interested in other dogs. He loooooves to walk. He’s a fast walker who will take the lead and gently pull if he wants to go in a specific direction. He’ll only stop to pee but prefers to keep on walking like he has somewhere to be. If he gets anxious, walking outside is the best remedy.
Billy is easy-going in many ways but he’s also a bit of a Divo. He prefers to be around people most of the time. He might do better if there’s another dog in the house. He’ll only use his little bark or whines if he wants or doesn’t want something. He’s a bit stubborn after all, he is Billy the Kid!
Billy is adorable "as is, which is perfect since he doesn’t care for fancy clothes. Don’t try to put a jacket on him when it’s cold because he’s not having it
Overall Billy is a very sweet little dog. He just needs to be given a lot of attention and is perfect for someone who can spend a lot of time with him.
