Betsy

#3637
Terrier mix
Female
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted for hospice care

Sweet and gentle Betsy is such a love! All she wants is to spend her days snuggled up in a warm blanket right next to her favorite person. She may be brand new to Muttville, but Betsy sure does have quite the fanclub! She’s so darn adorable and easy going, its hard not to fall in love with her. Betsy will make a great addition to a mellow home that likes live life in the slow lane.

Betsy was found to have liver disease, so we are looking for a loving fospice home for this special girl.

Here’s what Betsy’s foster has to say about this lovebug:

“Betsy is a spunky little grandma with tons of personality. She is super, super sweet and affectionate, she follows you everywhere you go. Gets along very well with my other dogs (big and small), she loves taking walks with us. Her appetite is great, she hasn’t met a cookie yet she hasn’t liked. When we go to the park she is fine with kids too. She is in great bikini shape, so she now can jump and play and run a little. I believe she would be ok with cats too, just because she ignores my neighbor’s kittie. She is housetrained in the sense that now she does her business in one same spot in the house where i placed the wee wee pads. Sometimes she manages to wait until we all go for a walk. She is a little shy with humans at first, but eventually she warms up and loves the person. Betsy is very protective of her love ones and of the home as well, and with her tiny size that’s is so adorable to watch! She is the perfect pup for someone who is looking for a senior gal with a huge zest for life that will shower them with kisses and attention.”

We think Betsy is 14 years young, weighing about 13 lbs.
