Bernice is a super sweet and very adorable girl! She comes to us from Fresno where she was originally found as a stray. When she arrived to Muttville, it was clear that she hadn’t had the care she deserved in quite some time. She had very matted fur, along with a pretty bad skin infection. She was covered from head to tail in foxtails as well. The day she arrived, she was of course a little nervous and just kind of laying around and taking it all in. You could tell that she wanted to be pet, but was also shy about it. Our vet team shaved her terrible coat in order to help find all the foxtails. Then she received a medicated bath that must have felt like heaven! After that you could tell that she immediately felt so much better. She was trotting around and wagging her tail!
She is a quiet and gentle girl who is simply too cute for words! She does well with other dogs and is just looking to be spoiled and pampered. She is going to make her new family wonder how they ever lived without her! She is a total doll.
