Calling all you horse whispers! We have the most handsome black Italian Stallion in the vicinity. Although his doggy DNA did not come back with any genetics linking him to a horse, we did match his DNA to a Chiweenie!
Bergamont’s jaw is a little tender at the moment so he needs to be handled with care. He does well with other dogs and for the time being, kids should stay at a distance until he’s feeling better. In just a matter of minutes after meeting him, good ol Bergamont will be up on your lap begging for a treat from the ice cream man that cruises by around 3:45 every afternoon. He may not be able to chomp down on a T-Bone, but his lint licker can sure put away some peanut butter dreamin!
Here’s some notes from his foster notes:
Little Berg came to me after having surgery to fix his broken jaw. He didn’t let that get in his way while settling into his new house with his foster siblings. Bergamot has inspected every inch of the house and has claimed the areas with the comfiest blankets and most sunlight- he likes to burrow so be careful where you sit!
Berg is amazing at-
Walking on a leash
Being house broken
Thoroughly inspecting every new place he encounters
Being a healthy boy- he’s currently on no meds!
Giving cuddles
Sleeping through the night
Berg is working on-
Sharing his person with other dogs
He’s such a special boy- I can’t wait for him to find his perfect family!
