If you’re looking for the perfect, dreamy, creamy chi guy to liven up your home, look no further than Muttville’s famous funny man, Belushi! This dapper gentleman has been getting along swimmingly with the other mutts and also is always down for some cuddles and pets from our more human volunteers. Belushi has two modes – he can either be cracking jokes, making friends, and generally serving as the life of the party or…he can be snoozing as a tiny tan button that doubles as a throw pillow. They always say get you a dog that can do both, and Belushi is just such a chihuahua. Our friend Belushi is a lucky 13 years old and 13 pounds…coincidence? Or destiny creating the fortuitous little furball that is Belushi? You’ll have to decide for yourself by coming down to meet him today!

Belushi is a sweet, affectionate boy who wants to be your new BFF! He’s very snuggly and would love nothing more than to snooze away the days and nights tucked in by your side. He was found as a stray so we don’t know anything about his background but it’s clear that he loved being close to his person and feels safe when they are nearby.
He enjoys short walks during the day for potty breaks and to get in a few sniffs but long hauls are not for him. He’s been great (very curious!) with my cat and would like to be his friend, unfortunately, my cat just isn’t that into him, LOL!
He’s a very handsome and curious boy who loves food, sunbathing, and snuggles more than anything else! His number 1 enemy: personal space. Belushi likes to get up close and personal with his people and takes the best naps when he’s touching them.
Belushi loves to wander around new spots and make sure he gets all his sniffs in. He loves to take long, slow strolls around a park or a neighborhood and patrol the buildings to make sure everyone is safe. A perfect day with him starts with morning time zoomies and ends in a snack and snooze in your lap!
The perfect home for Belushi would be with a nice, patient person or people with a sunny spot for him to sunbathe in. If you are looking for a Velcro dog whose favorite spot is next to you, then Belushi is your guy!
Belushi is such a soft hearted boy with the softest eyes, he just melts my heart!
