A Belushi superfan has covered his adoption fee!!
If you’re looking for the perfect, dreamy, creamy chi guy to liven up your home, look no further than Muttville’s famous funny man, Belushi! This dapper gentleman has been getting along swimmingly with the other mutts and also is always down for some cuddles and pets from our more human volunteers. Belushi has two modes – he can either be cracking jokes, making friends, and generally serving as the life of the party or…he can be snoozing as a tiny tan button that doubles as a throw pillow. They always say get you a dog that can do both, and Belushi is just such a chihuahua. Our friend Belushi is a lucky 13 years old and 13 pounds…coincidence? Or destiny creating the fortuitous little furball that is Belushi? You’ll have to decide for yourself by coming down to meet him today!

He’s got the energy of a Saturday Night Live sketch and the heart of a leading man — meet Belushi!
Belushi’s got the energy of a rock star on his comeback tour. He’s curious about everything — every corner, every cabinet, every smell. If there’s a snack within a mile radius, you bet he’s on the case. The man (er, dog) is fueled by food and curiosity — the perfect combo for a senior learning new tricks.
At home, Belushi’s a total softie. When the lights go down, he turns from wild comedian to world-class cuddler. He sleeps through the night curled up right next to his person (and doesn’t even steal the covers). He’s also totally fine snuggling up with other dogs, as long as they respect his space — he’s not a fan of pushy co-stars.
He’s been doing great with his foster’s three resident dogs, learning the ropes and picking up some good manners. Sure, he’s still working on his potty training and remembering not to stand on people (hey, physical comedy is his thing!), but he’s making progress every day.
Belushi would do best with a confident but chill canine companion and a patient human who appreciates his quirks, sense of humor, and big personality. A sunny spot for afternoon naps is a must — every legend needs a spotlight.
