Belly Flop is a tiny cream Chihuahua who prefers easing into the summer scene rather than making a big splash. Once he gets comfortable, this mellow little guy is happy to soak up the good life with his canine pals, enjoy some fresh air, and claim the coziest bed at the pool party. He may take a minute to get in the water, but once he’s ready, Belly Flop is all about sunny days, chill vibes, and finding the perfect spot to lounge.
Here’s some notes from his foster :
This tiny boy has had an enormous transformation, and we just love him so much! When Belly Flop first came to Muttville he wasn’t feeling great. The veterinary team at Muttville got his health sorted and now he is feeling so much better. It has been a joy to see him become lovable, playful, and so HAPPY!
Belly Flop is potty trained, does great when left alone, and sleeps through the night! He also seems to find car rides very relaxing.
Belly Flop will need an adopter that understands they need to go slow with him at first as he is still very wary of new human hands reaching for him. Once you build his trust, you will be greatly rewarded with Belly boy’s affection! It’s hard to believe he was so scared of me at first as he now he follows me around the house, climbs into my lap, and paws at my hand for scritches. His personality has come out more and more each day. He loves to play with his toys and he LOVES treats. I recently got him a puzzle toy and he figured out how to get all the treats right away! When he’s excited for food or playtime he does the cutest little spin moves!
His favorite things: his stuffed doggie, duckie toy, & snuffle mat.
