Meet Beaux, the tiny man who is so adorable that people often forget to breathe when they see him. The only downside to adopting this little guy will be the car collisions you will cause walking him down the street – again, people see his cuteness and they forget how to function. Beaux can be a teensy bit shy at first, but he can’t wait to warm up to you. He barks with a French accent, loves cheese, and is always on the geaux.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
He’s a super sweet little guy who is really starting to come out of his shell. It seems like he’s going to be a pretty playful dog! He loves food, attention, getting you to chase him around, and sleeping in quiet places under the window.
He sleeps through the night, and naps frequently, but that’s just because he’s saving up his energy for when he is awake! If you’re lucky, he’ll show you his amazing 360 degree jump spins when he’s excited! (And only sometimes landing in the water bowl.)
He hasn’t barked, but will whine at you when he wants something – to go potty, food, attention.
He does seem to be potty trained, but needs to go out pretty regularly. He’s quick to use the yard, though! Doesn’t need to dally around at all.
We can see he searches the house for us when we leave, but it’s taking less and less time for him to settle down into nap mode while we’re gone. And we haven’t seen/heard him bark when we’re away.
He gets along fine with our other dogs. Doesn’t seem to care one way or the other, so he’d probably be fine as an only dog or part of a pack!
