Beau is a diamond in the rough. He’s friendly with strangers & enjoys the friendship of other dogs, but he’s more of a monogamous type of fellow – and lucky for you, he’s looking for his next true love! It only took him a couple of days to blossom into the sweet, happy, trusting sidekick he is with us today. His number one favorite activity is receiving belly rubs on the couch while you watch TV. His second favorite activity is snoozing after said belly rub is over. Beau is a low maintenance kind of guy. He’s content just to be in the same room with you. He is alert but not territorial & does really well in an apartment building with lots of sounds & other dogs nearby. He is house-trained & knows to do his business outside & is quick about it too! When Beau gets excited, he makes the cutest whimper noises & taps his feet to tell you he’s happy. Beau has a lower activity level. He enjoys going on short walks to do his business but to be honest, he’d much rather get some exercise by playing tag with you for a minute. On walks, he has an excellent sense of direction & will promptly turn around & lead you back when he’s ready to go home. Beau likes to watch his people cook in the kitchen, for the chance that something delicious falls on the floor. He’s very dedicated to his craft!
