Beatrix is a darling chi, all long limbs, big ears and sweetness. She loves to be held and can’t wait to warm your lap!

If you’re looking for a quiet lady to snuggle with while you’re binge-watching your favorite show for hours or co-lead your next Zoom meeting – you’ve found the perfect lady for the job. Beatrix is the sweetest little senior lady you’ll ever meet. She’s been with us a week so far and I’ve yet to hear her bark or see her upset with anything or anyone she meets. She truly is the sweetest to absolutely everyone and everything.
She seems unfazed by meeting new people, and while we’ve been keeping our distance from other pups while she’s recovering from a cough, she doesn’t seem to even notice when they bark at her. As she’s recovering her health, she’s enjoying short walks – think a loop around a block. She is also unfussy being carried in a sling for longer walks.
This old gal is her happiest when she’s in the arms or in the lap of her human, but she’s also content to spend time on her own in her bed. On the cute beyond belief front: Around 7pm each night she’ll actually attempt to tuck herself in under the covers in her little dog bed, – she appreciates a little assistance in getting wrapped in that blanket, and once she’s all wrapped up she typically falls asleep almost immediately.
Beatrix is a very polite sleeper and tends to stay in her own bed until the humans of the house are up and about – a special "treat for the humans on the weekends for sure!
She would do best in a home where someone is around to take her out for potty breaks every few hours during the day or where she has regular access to a secure yard, and with someone who would like to have a lovely lady as a tiny shadow.
