Not many people can say that they have met a snuggly, sentient, sausage, but not many people have encountered Beatrix! This marvelous mid-sized mutt weighs in at about 23 pounds, but you wouldn’t know it from her slender torso – she’s not chunky but her torso stretches on for days! As you may have guessed, Beatrix is a dachshund dame, with chocolatey brown ears that fold neatly over her perennially perplexed expression. We assume she’s puzzled as to how a beauty like herself hasn’t found a forever home yet, but we know she’s spent 10 years learning how to be the best she can be. She’s a little timid but will continue to come out of her shell as she feels more comfortable.
