Bear is the most handsome black lab you will ever see! He is gorgeous, friendly, active and super duper sweet. Even though Bear is a senior, you really wouldn’t know it. He has great energy and a very friendly and bouncy personality. Bear would love an active home full of love and adventures!

Here’s some notes from their foster:

Bear and Marley came to me late yesterday so we’re still getting to know each other. I can tell you that they are super SUPER sweet! They are very much salt and pepper and should stay together.

Yesterday they went out separately with me for walks and were a little anxious about being separated and VERY happy to be reunited. Both are great walkers (Bear stops to sniff and mark, Marley likes to move at a fast pace. Later today I’ll walk them together and see what that’s like!)

This morning both dogs came and sat with me for pets. They are affectionate but not super needy. They were able to settle and chill yesterday after exploring their new digs. Right now they are napping after breakfast and a romp in the yard.

They are happy to meet people both inside the house and out on walks. Both are very friendly to humans. Bear met other dogs on his walk and was friendly but not overly interested in them. I haven’t seen Marly interact with other dogs yet but I imagine she’ll be similar.

They have access to our yard via a dog dog door and no accidents (or purposeful marking) happened overnight. I’m not 100% sure if they held it or went out.

We heard a little barking at bedtime last night but it wasn’t excessive and didn’t last long.

They have excellent energy but since they are older they are through the manic puppy energy stage. With a little consistent training on indoor manners these two will be dream doggos!
