Oh my goodness, what is shaped like a twinkie but has a constantly wagging tail? Bat! While he looks a bit like an overstuffed fruit bat who has eaten one too many treats, and you have the feeling that if he did ever hang upside down from a tree limb, he might fall out, you can’t help but to admire Bat’s boundless enthusiasm. The comically skinny tail never stops, and Bat’s disproportionately small head looks just perfect atop his potato body. As you might expect, he enjoys a good treat, and, luckily for him, it’s the perfect season for it. This chunky boy is oh so sweet, and we just know he’s going to make one lucky family very happy! Bat is a wonderful companion! His energy is good and loves outings, walks, snuggling, toys, and chicken. He gets along well with the resident pup. He loves coming home from outings and wriggles around happily on his back.
What’s not to love about this boy!! He started off very nervous on the first night home. He warmed up by the end of day 2. He is house trained, is likely used to table food, and loves soft toys he can fling around. I put his food on a regular plate and he seems more interested in eating it then. He loves pets and to burrow at bedtime. Interested in other dogs and loves to play!
Bat continues to be an energetic and special boy. He is very excited in the mornings when we all wake up, as if he’d been waiting all night for the next day to start.
He does very well on car rides and in a sling for when we were shopping.
Seems like a great family dog!
