Barley & Hops together produce magical wonders. If you want rainbows and sunshine, you got it! Barley is a sweet and energetic lad who loves his belly rubs. Hops is extra friendly and would do anything to snuggle up next to you. They compliment each other, love each other, and must remain together always. If you are looking for double the pleasure, double the fun, Barley and Hops are the perfect pair that you’ve been looking for.
Here’s some notes from their foster:
They are great about going out and know the works "park and "outside. Hops is brave and will poop/pee outside anywhere, anytime. Barley took some warming up to getting comfortable enough to feel like peeing on the street. But we live in a busy area and after about 4 days he was good to go and when at the dog park he had no issues. Both are amazing on leash and don’t fuss but should be walked with a harness because both will snake out of it.Hops leads the way and Barley… likes to stop… a lot… but our sidewalks are busy and with a little encouragement he will look up at you and continue on.
Both boys have a healthy energy level. Hops is the more playful of the two, and has an affinity for balls, squeaky toys, and things that crinkle. Get a rope and this guy will play tug of war with you, throw the ball and he will chase it! Pigeons beware! Barley sometimes gets excited about toys but is more into wrestling with Hops.
Both dogs are great with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. Great about letting you know when they are finished and I have never seen them snap at anyone or any dogs other than each other.
Barley and Hops both LOVE belly rubs, getting to kiss your face, and burrowing under the blankets. Barley loves to hangout under our bed or at the end of it being our security guard.
They both bark if someone comes to the door so they are great guard dogs! With a little "Good job boys! You kept us safe!they’ll stop and you will see them come trotting over to you with the proudest faces.
