Beautiful boy Barber is quite the looker, lean, dark and handsome! He’s a great size, not too small and not too big. He’s a sweetie, enjoying the company of people and other dogs. He’s done great with dogs big and small at Muttville HQ. Spry Barber would love to join you for hikes and strolls about town. He’s originally from Taiwan; we’re so glad he’s now here at Muttville and waiting for you!

Barber is a very good boy! It took him about 2 days to warm up and get settled but since then he’s had great energy (likes long walks/hikes!) and loves cuddles and pets. He will follow you around the house looking for love. :)
We haven’t yet introduced him to other dogs for play but he seems fine seeing and sniffing other dogs on our walks so I think he’d be fine.
He is a bit shy at first when meeting new people (especially men) and he does startle at loud noises so no off leash walking for him right away.
Barber is completely potty trained and will wait until he’s in the yard or on a walk to do his business. He likes to sleep on a bed and on the couch and is very calm.
He can get distracted when he’s eating and so far won’t eat unless we’re physically in the room, but that will probably change once he’s fully settled in his forever home. He loves being a guard dog, it’s so cute! He will stand outside the room I’m in and “keep watch” outside it.
