Banana Split loves to snuggle up in a blanket for a nap and is happy with his head burrowed underneath. He seems to pace and bark when he needs to go outside and knows to use the potty pad – so has had some training in the past. He generally does well on short walks and likes to sniff everything along the way. He isn’t crazy about stairs but can go up and down. We usually carry him up and down the longer stairs in our townhouse. He would probably prefer a home without too many stairs.
He is so cute and loveable – we put him in our bed to go to sleep and he plays around, rolling over and over to get his tummy petted. After a few laps, he will settle down and go to sleep. He sleeps through the night without a sound.
He is a very smart little pup and can read us pretty well – he knows when I am fixing his meals, his ears perk up when we are going out or when we’re going in the car. His big eyes look up at you when he wants something and he shows enormous patience with us.
He likes to cuddle with you on a chair and will lie down right next to you and snooze. He doesn’t bark unless he needs to go out. He did bark at his image in the mirror at first but seems to have recognized himself now.
He is a real sweetheart! We love him.
