Everyone is just going BANANAS for BANANA! Some like to call her Naners, while others prefer Nana, however once she’s yours you can call her whatever you like. Banana is a sweet old soul in a Pitt Bull Terrier body. She is a gentle giant who prefers to take things slow and when you peel back the outer layer, she is just a soft and lovable teddy bear. Naners would love to be the mascot of your home town and the mama bear to other dogs. She is extremely friendly and likes to spend her afternoons gazing out of any open window. She is a curious gal who just wants to explore the world one step at a time. Speaking of steps, they are a piece of cake for this senior.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Banana is a gem. She gets along w everyone! She checks on Sookie (dog), totally fine with Karl (cat), although I did a slow intro. She could care less about a chicken. She’s wonderful on walks although I’d keep it to 1-2 miles. She starts to slow down. She has wonderful recall and seriously doesn’t really want to be more than 5 feet away from you.
She loves the sun and basking in it, so a sunroom or patio would be amazing. She tolerates a car ride but I wouldn’t say is excited about them. She’s very gentle w treats, although a bit picky. Didn’t want a sweet potato snack. She would do well w someone that is patient and kind and work with her at her pace and she’ll bond wonderfully.
We’re delighted to report that Banana is currently in a loving and caring home!
