Meet Baklava, the sweet and friendly little lady who has won the hearts of everyone she meets with her irresistible charm. Her deep, soulful eyes are like pools of melted chocolate, reflecting her gentle nature and endless capacity for love. Baklava has an insatiable appetite for belly rubs. Nothing brings her more pleasure than lying on her back, paws adorably in the air, as she awaits her next belly rub session. If you’re lucky enough to know Baklava, you know you’ve found a friend who will always be there, wagging her tail and ready to shower you with love and belly rubs.

Baklava has been with us for 3 days, and she brings sunshine into our lives. She is a sweet 12-year-old female Yorkie looking for her forever home!This adorable little lady may be hard of hearing, but that doesn’t stop her from being the most charming companion you could ever wish for! She’s a pro at sleeping through the night (and lightly snoring). She instantly took to the dog beds. She is a champion with the stairs, and the lady can seriously chow down on food. Excellent eater, Senior Lady!
Baklava, with the right treat and hand gesture, can sit or command. We are working on shake. But she is not great at recall since she can’t hear much, so we keep her on leash all the time outside.
Baklava is an expert at sticking to us like glue-so prepare for her to be your loyal shadow wherever you go! But she doesn’t bark when we leave.
She loves people, and while she may be occasionally shy, her social nature warms our hearts. Gentle pets from under the chin or chest are the way to go to win her over as coming if over the top of head can startle her sometimes. Oh, and she loves belly rubs on her cuuuuute little belly It’s also easy to put her collars and vests on. She seems to perceive that I am just loving her even more. Sweet girl!Not only is she great with humans, but Baklava is also a true fur-friend to both dogs and cats! She’s a little social butterfly who loves making new friends of all species!
She has what we think might be allergies, so she sneezes and has itchy eyes, but the only thing that is infectious is her charm!
She likes to drive in the car, do errands, and be a girl about town – either on leash, in my arms, or in her carrier.
She is adding a dash of sweetness and a sprinkle of laughter to our lives
