Meet Backpack, your future pocket-sized companion! This little Chihuahua isn’t training for marathons, but he’s a pro at leisurely strolls around the neighborhood and snuggling up for cozy lap time. He’s got a heart as sweet as his love for soft treats and gentle pets. Whether he’s enjoying a quiet moment or tagging along on your daily adventures, Backpack’s always ready to pack in the love. If you’re looking for a low-key, cuddly sidekick, Backpack’s got your back (and your lap)!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Backpack needs a pack of Love, Care and Compassion. Miniature size Backpack is a full size of fun and cuddles. Backpack is quiet like a silent movie. He gives you the side-eye to let you know, he is fully alert and listening to your every move. Like any animal, Backpack doesn’t like other animals to get super close to his face. Who would enjoy that?
Backpack is potty trained. But you have to stay on a routine to keep up the good habits of taking Backpack outside. He doesn’t bark and loves to take naps throughout the day and evening. Sleeps the majority through the night until he needs to go potty and might expect a snack too for being a good boy. But you have to remind Backpack the kitchen is closed after 8pm and doesn’t open until 6am. Backpack loves to have his head gently massaged and he starts to snore. A gentle rub on the side of his body and he will surrender to your touch.
Eating time, he likes to have a human to stand or sit with him, while eating with encouragement. He really enjoys eating Kirkland Chicken (in a can) about 6 chucks of chicken broken up. He likes fresh air and a brief time in the sun for sun bathing and yoga stretches and a 15 – 30 second walk.
