Did you hear? Ava is chi perfection (with amazing ears)!
This petite cutie truly has an impressive pair of ears, but she has an even more impressive personality. She’s friendly, busy and very nice. Plus, she really likes kids and other dogs! Good girl!
Here’s what her Foster has to say about her:
Miss Ava is a wonderful girl who doesn’t even know that she’s a youngish senior, after all, isn’t 8 the new 4? She is house-trained and loves having an open back door to go in the yard at her leisure. She loves taking walks and does great on the leash. She also loves going to the park and exploring in the grass. Fetch isn’t Ava’s thing, but she loves romping and wrestling with her foster siblings.
After a day or two to settle in, Miss Ava engaged with and now gets along wonderfully with her three foster pup siblings (ages 2-9; all 15lb and under). They lounge together, play together, and eat together.
Miss Ava is all about her humans. She greets me every morning as I come downstairs with excited jumping in the air. For the first few days she was my shadow but has become more and more independent as the days go by. She loves to snuggle on our lap when we sit down to watch TV and often will burrow under a snuggly blanket.
Miss Ava sleeps downstairs with the other pups at night. She’s happy in a snug dog bed with a blanket, or just a blanket on the couch.
She gets a small bowl of wet food in the morning that I mix her supplements into. Our dogs are free-eaters so there is always a bowl of dry food out and she will help herself mostly in the afternoons.
Miss Ava is an absolute delight and will brighten up any home. She is the perfect balance of a people pup and an independent pup.
