Atari isn’t old, he’s retro! He’s way more OG than the Nintendo Game Boy. In his spare time, he enjoys break dancing, befriending cats and dogs, and taking short walks to the local arcade where he always has his name on the winner board. Atari is ready to retire his paws and spend less time mashing buttons and more time mashing potatoes. He has found a new love for the culinary arts, and he is determined to cook his way into your heart. If you have a sophisticated pallet and are a lover of long legged, handsome Chihuahuas, Atari says it’s game on!

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Meet Atari, a cuddle connoisseur and self-proclaimed lapdog extraordinaire. A devoted walker (he has the longest legs!) and people enthusiast, he thrives on the company of his human pack. While still mastering the art of potty training, he happily wears a belly band with grace.

Mornings are his specialty, where his cuddliness reaches its peak. He rolls over for morning belly rubs and loves to be laying on top of this person to say "good morning! This endearing canine companion comes with a charming twist to his nighttime routine-sending messages requesting you not to pet him while he gets his beauty sleep.

Atari will thrive as the sole furry resident, he promises to fill your home with warmth, love, and a touch of delightful eccentricity.

He is a good little walker and can do stairs just fine. Good amount of energy without being crazy! He likes to follow you around and see what everyone is up to.

Very food motivated. He also knows how to ‘sit’!

He curls up as tight as he can get and loves to snuggle with anyone on the couch.

He listens very well when you tel him no and not a barker.
