Asparagus is a sweet and delicate lady, looking for a loving home where she can enjoy her golden years.
Asparagus came to us from Solano County where she was surrendered. She is very shy and will thrive in a calm environment. We think with some tender love and care, Asparagus will come out of her shell and blossom. After arriving at Muttville, she was very timid and hid in the corner. But after a little while, she was coming up and asking for a lap to sit on. Once she was a little more comfortable, she curled right up and took a nap. She even did well with one of our younger Muttville volunteers. Asparagus would love a home that will be patient with her and show her all the love that she deserves.
Asparagus is 10 years old and weighs 4 pounds.

Asparagus was a bit shy to start but is friendly & loves to be pet. When you stop petting her, she gently nudges your hand for more & then ends up asking for belly rubs! She sometimes likes to cuddle (especially at bedtime!) & sometimes she likes her own space where she is on her dog bed. Asparagus is medium-low energy. She loves her walks & sniffs everything around her. My dog is much bigger than her & has puppy energy. Asparagus completely ignores him & never growls at him! For house-training, she had a few accidents the first day. However, it seems as if she is pee pad trained & always goes outside when I bring her out. Asparagus loves car rides! She loves to be able to look outside, but since she is so small she uses my arm as an extra boost so she can see through the window! Her tail is always wagging & even does a little happy circle dance when you come home!
