Arigato is feeling more and more at ease here. He still eats like he has never eaten before and paces around the house from time to time, but besides that he seems to be doing well. He has gained a bit of weight and hopefully he will gain still more. I don’t know where all the food goes because he has been eating super well lol.
He is quite active. He enjoys walking (he usually wants to keep going when it’s time to go home). At home he walks around, so I give him puzzles with treats. Since he is very food motivated, the puzzles work great. They keep him distracted/occupied, though he gets frustrated if the treats are too hard to find.
He’s very sweet, calm, and a little shy. He’s doing fine with my other dog, and has been friendly to dogs on walks. He seems to love walks and can walk at a good pace.
This dog is hospice due to the following medical conditions: signs of canine cognitive dysfunction including night time waking. This has been managed well with medications during his time at Muttville.
