Aries is a gentle, sweet-natured 7-9 year old with a sensitive soul and so much love to give. He’s friendly with people, a little shy at first, but warms up quickly into a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being close to his person.
Aries thrives in a calm, structured home and would do best with someone who is home often. He’s an introverted, easygoing guy who enjoys quality time with his hoomans. He walks so well on his leash thanks to what a good boy he is at his current board and train.
Socially, Aries is more of an observer and would be happiest as an only dog or with a calm, neutral companion who respects his space. A peaceful home without a lot of chaos is ideal, and he’d do best with kids 12+ (or very calm younger children).
Aries isn’t big on toys but will happily chase a ball now and then. He has no prey drive but would prefer a home without cats. At heart, he’s a homebody who just wants a safe place to land and someone to love.
Aries came from a loving home and, after a period of transition, is ready to find that stability again. In the right home—one filled with patience, consistency, and care—he’s going to be an incredibly devoted and rewarding companion.

The trainer he’s currently with says he’s a very good dog. Learns well. Needs a home with someone who will continue his leash work cause he can pull on a leash. And someone who is home or can handle separation anxiety which might manifest although it has not manifested at the board and train because his trainer does crate training with him. Aries LOVES his crate.
I don’t have his medical notes although I don’t believe he has any major medical. He is neutered. The poster says his name is Duke but it is really Aries.
