Argyle the scrumptious little apple head chi is aging better than a 2016 Bordeaux, and the little gent is just 14 years old! Pointy ears, an upturned nose and a peek of pink tongue turbocharge his baseline cuteness. His puppyish curiosity and sweet affinity for dogs twice his size will microwave your heart. He looks like a crunchy regular at the Harvard Club dining room. Add a wee silk ascot and he is the star of your favorite BBC throwback series. He gets around fine, but once you adopt him, you’re going to want to hold Argyle close, wearing him like the rare gem that he is.

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Argyle is an absolute snuggle bug and can’t understand why you would ever not want to hold him! He is a quiet little guy with long little legs and a desire to please. He is housebroken and good at letting you know when he needs to go out by quietly standing by the door.

Argyle sleeps through the night, is good on walks, and follows the lead of my resident dog. He needs to put on a couple pounds but is never going to be a big guy. He does eat well and has an easygoing demeanor.

We went to a showing of the NY film festival dog shorts with a theater full of people and dogs, which did not phase him at all. He enjoyed being held and snuggled by my friend for the first 30 min and then just settled in on his blanket in the seat next to me and went to sleep. Way to go Argyle!
