Apex

Every so often, you meet a dog that reminds you why Muttville’s mission is so important, and Apex is one of those dogs. This sweet senior boy was overflowing with joy when he arrived at Muttville from the shelter, completely unable to contain his excitement about having space to roam and pals to hang out with. While we commonly see chihuahuas, they rarely have such wonky ears tossed about with reckless abandon – Apex has adorably foldy ears that appear to be in a constant state of one up one down (if he slows down enough for you to see them, that is!). Combine that with an ever-present doggy grin and you just know this mischievous mutt is going to brighten someone’s day. Could your day be a little brighter?
