Meet Angus, the dog who’s practically perfect in every way! This sweet senior has a heart as big as his love for treats (which is huge, by the way). Angus is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever he goes-whether it’s humans, other dogs, or even the occasional curious cat. With his soulful eyes and wagging tail, Angus seems to know exactly how to brighten your day. He’s easygoing, affectionate, and just the right amount of goofy. If belly rubs were an Olympic sport, Angus would win gold every time!
He’s happiest when he’s by your side, ready for a cuddle session or a leisurely stroll around the block.

I believe Angus has not met a stranger – humans or dog that he doesn’t like! He is a complete gentleman. I could tell the shelter employees at Fresno Animal Center loved him. He is good in the car, would prefer to be strapped in the backseat free vs a kennel but will still tolerate a kennel.
Not very vocal, pretty chill. Potty pad trained and will also go outside. He can handle stairs just fine. He has good energy and likes stuffed toys. Great walking etiquette. Would enjoy an active person/family.
Likes to burrow in a nice comfy bed and sleep throughout the night, unless you get up and then he is also ready to get up. He will sit when asked and go to his bed if you tell him. Seems to know commands and will come to you when called.
Loves to get belly rubs and cuddles. Was great with our hospice dog and would probably like a sibling as he tried to sleep with our little guy.
Angus is perfect. He gets along well with every person he meets. He had no issue with my dogs (1 big, 5 littles). He is wary of stairs but can do them. He is VERY food motivated and loves to be near you. Anytime you sit down he will run and jump into your lap to snuggle. He hasn’t had any accidents with me, even overnight. He will wait to go potty outside. Perfect on the leash. He will eat with my other dogs together with no issue. Eager to learn new tricks and definitely knows his name, responds very well to it. Overall 15/10 perfect boy.
