Angel needs an Angel!
Angel is 83lbs. She truly is an angel. Sweet to everyone she meets including other dogs. She will provide corrections to other dogs if they are too rough with her, but it is all appropriate. She loves to play with toys and fetch. She is great for her eye medication and often tilts her head back to make it easier on staff.
Angel melted hearts at our Halloween Event, she greeted kids and adults with kisses and wiggles. She didn’t mind the noise, costumes or crowds!
Angel loves squeaky toys, water, treats, walks and attention!! She is content with a toy in your presence! She is polite to other dogs, but doesn’t engage them much.
If an older, loving, easy-going, sidekick German Shepherd companion is on your 2025 wishlist – or just a senior “good dog” to keep you company….she’s waiting at Antioch Animal Services .
Angel’s visual impairment (likely pannus) doesn’t render her blind and with the treatment they have been giving her (daily eye drops) it has shown improvement!
Angel is great on the leash. She loves to go for walks and is very well behaved in public.
Angel deserves the opportunity for a great long life with an Angel of her own!My name is Angel.
