Alvin has been with us the better part of a week now, and we can confidently say he is a*delightful*roommate- even with a cone! He is extremely quiet, friendly, and affectionate. He is a great eater and loves his treats, and appears to be almost fully house trained- as long as he goes out every few hours!
Alvin’s tail wags whenever he sees or hears us, which is so heartwarming and sweet. He doesn’t appear to have any anxiety or separation anxiety, and happily naps in his bed while we’re working. He enjoys going on car rides. Alvin is always ready for an adventure! He’s a happy walker on shorter walks (10-15 minutes seems great for him) and can handle stairs just fine. He also appears to be great with kids, and might love to be adopted into a family!
We think he would be great in a home with or without another dog, as long as he can be snuggled by his people often. Alvin will make the perfect addition to any family, and we’re so excited for his future!
