Alfredo is a tiny chihuahua pup whose coat is reminiscent of an indulgently creamy bowl of pasta! But don’t let his size or carb-tastic name fool you into thinking he’s a couch potato – Alfredo has got places to be, namely, by your side! With a very friendly disposition, sweet eyes, and saucy prance, this petite pup is on the move and ready to zoom his way into your heart!
Some notes from Alfredo’s foster:
Alfredo is quite the guy. He’s all the things a funny little chihuahua should be. He’s quite pretty, so Alfredo gets a lot of attention wherever we go. Alfredo loves to eat, is good at pottying outside, and loves a little walkie.
Alfredo loves all dogs. All dogs. Big, small, medium. Short, fat, skinny, tall. He seems to really like the big dogs showering as much affection on them as they allow. He wags his tail (really his stout body). He does give some warnings if he’s cozy in bed and another dog tries to move him or gets in his personal space. Same goes for attention from people – he never makes contact but will tell you every so often to back off his person.
He also loves people. He greets everyone who comes along and enjoys their attention. His personal signature is licks and nibbles. He needs you to know he is there and that your hands are his personal heaven.
Alfredo LOVES kids. He would love to be in a home with a kid or two to shower his own special kinds of nibbly affection on. (Due to his size, I would say grabby kids wouldn’t be ideal.)
I believe Alfredo came from a Spanish-speaking home. He responds to commands in Spanish and when friends have spoken to him, he melts. It’s the most viseral reaction I’ve seen which is why I mention it (not a requirement!)
Whomever adopts Alfredo is going to have won the lottery with this guy!
