Alba has quite the story. Found after likely being hit by a car, Alba came to OAS very skinny with a broken pelvis. Luckily, a foster stepped up to take her in.
In her foster home, she’s healed well, and her personality has revealed itself also. She’s a big couch cuddler, respectful of the resident senior dog, and loves belly rubs.
Alba’s fosters say she’s a joy to have around and a very easy house guest. What she really needs now is a home to call her own. She’s about 9 years old and weighs 45ish lbs.
Adopter should be prepared to slowly acclimate dog to new environment and to being alone, and she may do best with another dog in the home. Dog should not be left outside alone.
This is a courtesy post. Alba! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Alba! and want to learn more about her, please contact: Oakland Animal Services www.oaklandanimalservices.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/ or email adoption@oaklandsanimals.org.
