Ajax is small enough to fit in your purse but has the spirit of a lion and ears big enough to catch secrets on the wind. At just 4 pounds, this teeny-tiny chihuahua is so soft he should come with a warning label: “May cause spontaneous snuggling.” He’s the kind of guy who walks into a room like he owns it, makes friends with everyone, then casually climbs into your lap as if to say, “This is mine now.” Despite his size, he adapts faster than your Wi-Fi and finds comfort in new places like he’s been there all his life. Ajax is curious, bold, and rocking the classic chihuahua look like a fashion icon with radar-level hearing. He doesn’t bark orders… no no… he charms you into doing what he wants. Lap dog, travel buddy, couch king? He’s ready for all roles. If you’ve been waiting for a pocket-sized adventurer with a big heart and even bigger ears, Ajax is your guy.

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Looking for a portable pocket sized bundle of pure joy and goofiness? Well look no further. Ajax is a tiny little chichi who is the cutest little side kick you can have. He does really well in the car and just wants to see what is going out in the world by looking out the side window. When tired of looking out he will just curl up on the bed provided.

First day at my house he was excited and wanted to sniff everything. He tried out all 5 beds in the house and found one he liked though he will usually lay on the one closest to his person. He also figured out the doggy stairs to the couch and loves making himself comfortable next to you. Ajax is potty trained. He does his business when ever we are outside.

He is the perfect little dude on a leash. He does not pull and walks like a very dignified little doggo. He loves meeting new people and seems to want to meet all the dogs we have met on our walks. He has no concept of size and wants to meet every dog even if they are 100x his size.

Ajax is not food motivated and will eat on his own time. I tend to leave his food out and notice that he likes to eat it through out the day. At night, even though there are 3 doggy beds in the bedroom he likes to sleep on my dirty laundry pile or on my clean laundry in the closet. He has never asked to come up on the bed and he sleeps through the night.

I have left him home when I went to work and he sleeps through the day and is an eager little greeter when I got home. I have yet to hear him bark in the house and when he did do one little bark it was not loud at all. He also does very well with my birds in which he pays no attention to them.
