Come one, come all and see the fluff-tastic wonder that is a white-faced floof ball! Aileen is proof that age is just a number and cute puppy-like zoomies can happen at any age. A bit of vision impairment doesn’t stop her; with a home filled with extra love and care, she will be able to safely navigate her new space to get all the snuggles. Aileen is a master friend maker who is ready to give anyone a friendly hello – she uses any opportunity for a human or doggy cuddle. If you want a bundle of sweetness and joy that is sure to turn heads anywhere you go, come and punch your ticket to the small dog wonder show!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Don’t let snooze-leen at the shelter fool you, she is much more engaging and active at home! Yes, she does sleep a decent amount, but she also loves exploring the yard, following us around the house, riding in the sling to the local pub, and rolling in the grass at the park. She is very capable of doing stairs, and will use steps to get onto the couch or bed.
She’s an expert food beggar, and has some of the famous Chihuahua spice in her if another dog gets in her face. She seems to really enjoy people and being carried, which at 7lbs is very easy to do, and she really is ok living with other dogs of all sizes, but will use her words like Clint Eastwood telling them to stay off her lawn!
She is totally fine being left alone during the day, and is great at going potty any time we take her out, but may have an accident if left too long like any dog would. We do think she’s deaf, and she’s blind in one eye, but can definitely see out the other, so if you wave a hand at her, she will come toddling over to say hello and get scritches. She’s an absolute doll and one of my favorite dogs we’ve ever fostered. If you’re looking for a very easy keep to boost your mood, Aileen is the one for you!
