We adore Miss Adora and you will too: She’s completely adorable inside and out! Adora is vision impaired but that doesn’t stop her from exploring, bopping around, and asking for pets. She loves cuddles, attention and being with people (she also does well with other dogs). Adora is a perfect poodle charmer!
Here’s a note from her foster!
Adora is quite literally, adora(able)! She has a heart of gold and sweet gestures to complement her inability to see. Don’t let her blindness fool you – she knows exactly who’s in her presence and shows it with her wagging tail and excited mini-jumps! She’s also got quiet the nose! Whether she’s at your feet and her wet nose taps your ankle, or you’re eating a chicken sandwich, she’s an alert girl!
When Adora’s not in the backyard exploring (usually in a jacket or vest until her hair grows back!), she can be found snoozing or keeping you company. She has a calm personality and loves soaking up some backyard sun. She’s been my favorite desk-mate and is the ultimate binge-watching buddy! She’s not much of a noise maker, her limited barks have only been playful when she can sense you’re in the room and wants a rub!
We’re BIG Adora fans – especially because she’s never had an accident! As long as she’s taken outside every few hours for a potty & stretch break, she’s a housebroken dog. She’s not a fast walker and it takes her a couple minutes to feel situated outside before exploring, but once she’s on the move, she knows what to do.
Adora would be an amazing addition for a person or family who doesn’t have many stairs – if you do have stairs, she’s tiny and easy to scoop up for the bathroom or bringing her into another room.
