Join us for a new monthly group meeting, led by Licensed Therapist Laura Goodspeed, MFT. We’ll explore the stressful and often disturbing aspects of rescue work, the challenges of foster and fospice care, as well as tools for avoiding burnout and overwhelm.

We’d like to offer a different topic each month, so your suggested topics are welcomed!

Our August topic is “Self Care and Limits with Rescue Work”

Every single one of us could work night and day, forgoing food and sleep, and there would still be many more animals to save. So, where do we draw the line as individuals, and how do we know when we’ve reached or crossed it? And at that point, what do we do to “rescue” ourselves?

For more information on this type of support group read Laura’s article on Muttville’s blog!
