The mighty Chihuahua—are a breed most in need of rescue: hundreds of the little guys and gals are routinely found in shelters around the country, waiting for help, healing and hugs.

Join Muttville, 7×7, the SF SPCA and DogTrekker at the third annual awareness event, again held in Dolores Park, where we will be onsite to help you find your new best friend.

The super-popular costume contest returns! Don’t have a costume? No problem, spin the prize wheel and win one at the event or join in for costume making with Workshop SF. Don’t have a doggie? We can fix that too! Meet adoptable dogs who would love to go home with you!

So spread the word, and get those tiny costumes sewn, pressed and ready—it’s time to raise the woof, San Francisco!

Dog registration for the costume contest will take place between noon–1pm.

Costume Contest will be held between 2pm–3pm.
