Adoption as Art at CCA

Artist Michael Fox believes that art embodies human exchange, and in this installment, exchange with an animal. Fox has teamed with Muttville to present a study of life and the process of bonding, and how we deal with it. What is the process of our experience when we become attached to something like an object of art or in this case, an animal? Why do we do it? What is the investment? This installation examines the complex relationship that transcends anything tangible and/or based on assets.

Fox likes to practice a dialectic approach to finding paths or places or a combination thereof that inhabit the threshold of a vision. Stop by the art space, spend a minute with a Muttville dog, and contemplate the art that is our relationship with dogs.

All dogs at the event are available for adoption, for the creation of an artful relationship.
