Our dog, Mr. Hobbes, is a wonderful, loyal companion. He is 9 lbs, and is a Chihuahua & Shiba Inu mix with a lot of personality and love to give. As he has gotten older, he has become more anxious and struggles when he is left at home while we go to work. He is in need of someone who lives a more consistent lifestyle and has a more concrete schedule than we can provide. He is great on walks, loves hikes and being outside, and walks well with a harness. He also loves cheese, the sun, and cuddling with his people on the couch. He has lived and coexisted with other dogs in the past, and is defensive upon first meeting but quickly warms up. He is also great with cats and has lived with two cats for the past three years. He has a tendency to bark when stimulated, but listens to verbal commands and is incredibly intelligent. We are hoping to find him a loving home with people who are home more often to keep him company in his old age. We would love to speak to anyone who thinks they might be the right home for him! Thank you in advance.
This is a courtesy post. Mr. Hobbes is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Mr. Hobbes and want to learn more about him, please contact Elizabeth Mather via email @ Elizabeth.Mather@colorado.edu.
