Pomeranian / Mixed (long coat)
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Available from another shelter

Now that Camelo has retired from his illustrious career as a ball kid at the US Open, he is ready to be the center of attention in his retirement. Once he gets to know you, this snuggly boy loves walking, sniffaris, and running in the yard. He is currently sporting his summer haircut, but watch out – when it grows out, he is like Andre Agassi circa 1988, full of fluffy pom-pom goodness! Camelo would prefer to be the only dog, to soak up all the available adoration and ‘good boy’ comments. Still, with a proper introduction, he has enjoyed running and playing with respectful male and female dogs. Give this guy the life he deserves, check him out at Oakland Animal Services

Camelo is a sweet and energetic boy who enjoys snuggling with his people, going on sniffaris, and taking walks. He is currently sporting his summer haircut, but looks like a true fluffy pomeranian when his hair is longer. Camelo is shy and timid in the shelter, and will need adopters who are ready to give him lots of time and space to warm up. This smart boy is treat-motivated and responsive when walking in his harness, he just wants to please his people. He would prefer to be an only dog, as he likes to be the center of attention, and he can be selective with his doggie friends, so dog parks are not on his list of likes. Do you need a little sweetness in your life? Come and meet Camelo!

Camelo is by APPOINTMENT ONLY! If you are interested in meeting him, please complete and return the adoption form and we will call you.

This is a courtesy post. Camelo. is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Camelo. and want to learn more about him, if interested, please contact: Oakland Animal Services or email
