What could possibly be better than one sweet Yorkie? Two of course! Barnes & Noble are a fantastic pair of brothers. They can’t wait to join you for a jaunt around your neighborhood then curl up on the couch with you while you read a good book. Need help choosing what to read next? Luckily you have a pair of literary experts by your side. (They recommend Dog Songs by Mary Oliver and Culinary Canine.)
Here’s a note from their foster:
Barnes and noble are the sweetest little Velcro pups who complement each other perfectly.
Barnes is a bit of a goofball, always seems happy and loves to be near his person. He’s a little anxious if left alone but on your return he will really show his joy and excitement to see you by running and jumping like mad to greet you. He can go up and down stairs and onto the sofa without help.
Noble is the more calm of the two. He’s able to go upstairs alone but needs help going down. He is be a hospice dog but don’t tell him that since he doesn’t show it! He enjoys walks with Barnes and will do anything for a treat! Even if you think he’s fast asleep, you can’t sneak past him without his ears pricking up and running to meet you in the kitchen if he thinks you are in the business of giving out treats!
They both have a great appetite and sleep through the night! They’ve come a long way with potty training! We haven’t had any accidents in the house for a while, and no accidents if I’ve had to leave them by themselves. They’d be most suited in a home with direct access to a yard however since they don’t seem to want to do their business in public! I will still put a belly band on Barnes just in case but he hasn’t needed it. They do not like rain!
They are great with other people and dogs. They do not bark, unless left alone. They might not be suited to apartment living therefore.
