Meet April! This adorable gal was found as a stray in San Francisco and quickly found her way to Muttville after being picked up. She has adjusted very fast and settled right in. April is very social and sweet! She enjoys meeting new people and loves attention. She also does great with dogs of all sizes. April enjoys going for walks and exploring. She is one happy-go-lucky pup! On top of that, April is just adorable and has dual-colored eyes and an adorable red, scruffy coat.
Here is a note from one of April’s fondest admirers: April is a sweet girl. She is great with kids and loves to cuddle. She needs a family that is always around or that can bring her to work with them. April will sleep by your side, she doesn’t get up at night she just sleeps soundly. April doesn’t miss a chance to come and snuggle by your side whether you’re reading or trying to work, she doesn’t care. April is house broken and loves to go for walks but when shes not walking she’s curled up in a place shes finds comfy. April is energetic but is also mellow. She is really nice around kids, she also gets along with cats but can be frightened by one popping up unexpectedly. April is loving but bonds quickly so if you need to go on vacation she will want to come with you. April doesn’t bark unless frightened or she misses her person. April is the perfect companion for a stay around type of person and is a great dog!
April’s foster has great things to say:
April is an affectionate girl! She loves to snuggle and be near her person. April is very mellow. She loves to go outside for walks, and we’ve even gone on walks up to 90 minutes. Other than that she sleeps the entire day in her bed. She’s a dream for someone who works from home or is retired and home often. April loves other dogs – she just wants to get to know them :). April is great with house training – she lets me know whens he has to go outside. April enjoys canned food.
April is about 9 years young and weighs 10 pounds.
We’re delighted to report that April is currently in a loving and caring home. Thanks to all the wonderful friends of Muttville who helped to make this happen.
