Truffles

Truffles is a small package of big love! She is a happy bouncy girl who gets along well in all situations. She is a lap dog but has the enrgy to play and go for nice walks, too! We want her to find a great home, is it yours??

Miss Ruthie

Miss Ruthie, what a gentle sweet girl! She is desperate for love. Ruthie was found wandering the mean streets of Oakland. He fur looks like it has never seen a brush in her 10 years. Ruthis has an inoperable mass cell tumor but may have a few years before it affects her quality of life. She is just about the sweetest dog we have ever met, she likes other dogs and all people.

Arlo

Arlo is an overly cute small terrier mix (15 lbs) with a beautiful gold and silver coat. When he's walking down the street, people love to say hello and compliment him on his good looks! He's an older dog (10-11 years, though we're not exactly sure - and no one believes he's more than 2 or 3 when they meet him) but he has a great deal of energy and enthusiasm when he's not sleeping. He's quite a good-natured fellow, and loves attention, including belly rubs if you're good. He knows a number of commands, including "roll over", which he's figured out is the cutest and best way to obtain lots of treats. Jordy

Jordy loves everyone/everything - adults, older children, other dogs, cats, city/country life, sunny days, fireside naps, warm meals, car rides, short walks, sleeping, snuggling - and he even "runs" when really happy. Sometimes just an observer, he still enjoys being where the action is. Jordy wakes up happy every day and loves life. Due to his age, he prefers no stairs and sometimes may forget to go outside - frequent outdoor trips and a belly band help. He happily sleeps in his crate at night, tucks himself into bed sometimes. Jordy is a fragile and exceptional little guy who is hoping a special person (or persons) will provide him with a loving, warm home forever.

Charlie

Charlie came from an abuse/neglect situation, his life was spared because no one had the heart to pull the plug on this great guy. He is such a lover and is desperate to find a companion he can devote his life and give his love to! Charlie is housetrained, a couch potato, he thinks he is a lap dog! Charlie is about 8 years old, and weighs about 50 pounds, Because of his past,Charlie has some fear issues and needs a home that can help him gain some confidence. He would be best in a mellow home where he can get lavished with love. We promise he will return it! He deserves a great home to spend the rest of his life.Charlie does not get along with all dogs and would not be a dog to take to a dog park, but walks well on leash! We love Charlie, you will too.

Buster2

Buster is new here at Muttville, but he has fit right in. He is soooooo cute, with a personality to match. Buster is about 12 years old, housetrained, great with other dogs. He is a great little guy to have around, hold, cuddle and go for walks. We just love him, you will too! Did I say he is sooo cute!

Griffey

Griffey was abandoned after a housing problem, he is a pure cocker with the sweetest disposition. Very healthy and happy, loves other dogs and all people. Pip And Estella

Pip and Estrella's mommy died and they were left homeless, afraid in a shelter after always living in a nice warm and loving home, confused. They got to Muttville last night and are so happy. Outgoing, cuddlebugs, we think they are mother and son. Estella is missing an eye but otherwise these two are healthy, She is about 9 and he is about 6 years old, they seem housetrained, they aren't barky or yappy. We want to keep these little ones together, so if you want two little lovecups to warm your life, please contact us to meet them!

Little Bug

Little Bug was a shelter favorite and they just couldn't euthanize her... she has some nerve damage in her back legs but is still full of life and spunkiness. she loves to be held but also likes her walks. she will crawl under the covers as she crawls into your heart!!

Barack

What a sweet pooch, he has been badly neglected but a good samaritan brought him to us. Barack is mellow, sweet, and on his way to a better life. He is, like his namesake, full of grace with earnest eyes. We think Barack is about 9 years old, he weighs about 50 pounds. He needs loving and warm place to live out the rest of his years!!
