Meet Holly! This spunky little Pomeranian was surrendered to a vet clinic in Antioch because her owners could not afford her medical care. Luckily, the vet at the clinic decided to foster her, and when she was offered to us we knew we couldn’t turn her down!
When Holly first arrived, she was a little dazed, quite overweight, and in pain from rotten teeth, a fractured jaw, and a mammary tumor. Muttville addressed those issues, and as soon as she felt better, she showed her true loving personality! She’s housetrained and walks like a little lady on leash. She loves to cuddle on the sofa, and she hikes like a champ – though slowly – up and down San Francisco hills. She lived with cats and other dogs, and gets along beautifully with creatures of all sizes. When you first meet her, she might seem aloof, but she’s just getting comfortable. Once she finds her person she is devoted. She is a doll who just needs a new beginning with a forever family to call her own!
Holly is 11 years young and weighs 13 pounds.
Due to her mammary cancer which is expected to recur, she is available for hospice care adoption. Hospice care will include administering oral medications and taking her to the veterinarian periodically for check ups.
