I am so happy we were contacted about Chloe, who was dumped at an animal shelter in the worst shape. She was covered in fleas and had raw skin and gooey eyes. With a heart of gold, no one deserved a fate like this. What a resilient girl she is, too! Chloe started wagging her tail in the first couple of days. This lovely lady is gentle on the leash and quiet, easy with all people and dogs, too. Chloe is about 8 years old and weighs 49 pounds, and she is gaining weight.
May 22 Foster Mom Update: “Chloe is growing back all of her hair and looking gorgeous! She obviously feels better as well. She prances around the house like a puppy, and play wrestles with my dogs every morning. She absolutely loves her walks and trips to the dog park, and greets all the dogs and people she sees. She knows how to sit, lay down, and shake hands already. She is very treat motivated so it’s is easy to teach her new tricks. Chloe is 100 percent housetrained as well. She will do a little jig near the door to let you know she needs to go out. And she is quiet as a mouse. She has not made a peep the entire time I’ve been fostering her.”
With lots of love, things are looking up for our precious Chloe.
